BIG history : BIGGER future : ONE club
Aberdare Town, in one name or another, have had a long history
in football including a spell in the English Football League in the
1920s as Aberdare Athletic until being replaced by Torquay United
The Club now aim to have a great future and to achieve that are
looking to be more active in the local community and build upon
the growing boys and girls sections to give them the highest level
of football possible in both the men’s and women’s game.
We also continue to improve our facilities and our social activities

Our Women’s team lost in their second friendly at
Aberaman Park with a 5-0 defeat to Cardiff Bluebirds
