The Club has various opportunities for people to get involved in various areas of our set-up. All applications are held in confidence and we operate on a non-discriminatory and equal opportunities basis. To apply for any of our available roles please email in the first instance website@aberdaretownfc.co.uk marked for the attention of the Clubs General Manager, Ian Pearce. Our current available roles are… TEAM MANAGER (Men) We are looking to appoint a new team manager for our senior men’s team. Applicants must possess as a minimum an FAW C coaching licence and be prepared to work towards the UEFA B licence as part of the Clubs commitment to achieve the FAW’s Tier 2 licence requirements. COMMERCIAL MANAGER (Committee) We are seeking somebody to join the committee to look after our commercial activities for the entire Club. The role will see the commercial manager look to sell the pre-designated packages to local, regional and national businesses and individuals and to enhance the reputation of the club in the community. The person will be expected to attend home matches to entertain match and wider club sponsors. MATCH REPORTER (Women’s team) We are seeking somebody to write match reports both home and away for our women’s team for the 2020/21 season. Reports will feature on the Clubs website and in the matchday programme. A good level of written English essential as well as being able to travel for away games in the South Wales area. MATCH REPORTER (Girls teams) We are looking for somebody to write a weekly round-up of the games for our mini & junior teams from the girls section of the Club which will be published on our website and in the match day programme. Attendance at matches is not required but will need to be able to liaise with team managers/coaches for details with the report being submitted by Monday lunchtime each week. BAR STAFF (Club) We want to add to our available bar staff to be able to work various hours and shifts depending on opening. These could be evenings, Saturdays (day and night) or Sunday (day and evening). There are no guaranteed shifts and previous bar experience is preferred but not essential.
