Football from 12 months to 5 years! Our sessions are based around giving your child a great introduction to the wonderful world of football but in a fun, safe and free from pressure environment. Each of the sessions are set into specific age groups so your child will be mixing and playing with children of their own age. Sessions are held on a Saturday and Sunday morning and are run by fully qualified FAW coaches who also hold DBS checks and first aid certificates. The aim of Kickers is to not only start teaching basic football skills but is also a great way of children learning the all important social skills they need as they grow up and head towards school

Session Information SATURDAY >> 09:30 until 10:15 Ages 12 months to 24 months 10:30 until 11:15 Under 5 SUNDAY >> 09:30 until 10:15 Under 4 10:30 until 11:15 Under 3 If you cannot make your session please ensure you notify us by either message, email or ideally on our dedicated private facebook group for parents. If, after four weeks of not attending and not notifying us your child’s name will be removed from the register and may go onto a waiting list to start again.

Kickers moves into mini football The summer of 2024 saw the first group of children progress from Kickers - with many of them having started on the very first session when it started - and into fully organised matches in the Under 6’s for Aberdare Town FC. The team are managed by Pete Taylor and helped by Hadley and Emily - who both started their coaching journeys with Kickers and gained their Football Leaders awards with us. They now play in the Aberdare Valley Football League mini section. It’s a goal for us to produce players from Kickers who eventually go on to represent the Club at senior level having moved through mini, junior and youth football.

INTERESTED IN COACHING? We are looking for coaches to join us on our Saturday and Sunday mornings. No past experience required as we will help towards training and DBS checks - just have a passion for helping develop children socially and in football.
